Karen Biggs
Karen Biggs is Investor Relations Associate and Corporate Secretary of Bluescape Energy Partners. In this capacity, she coordinates activities relating to investor relations. Biggs manages Bluescape Energy Partners’ relationships with institutional investors by providing clear, accurate, and confident communications.
She is responsible for delivering all investor relations materials, including earnings releases, investor conferences and investor roadshows. Biggs schedules partner conferences and initiates and responds to written, telephone and email inquiries from members of the financial community. In addition, she is responsible for coordinating all activities with the registered agent for Bluescape’s entities, including our organizational charts, and for records retention for our corporate documents.
Prior to Bluescape, Biggs spent over ten years in the hospitality industry, working for some of the largest hotel companies in the world, namely, Marriott, Hyatt, Wyndham, and the Four Seasons., Her experience in the hospitality industry ranged from communications specialist, public relations coordinator, recruitment and onboarding of new employees, training, and department manager. Biggs earned recognition for her ability to work with other staff members and departmental managers to streamline activities and meet the aggressive expectations of senior management as well as the Hotel General Manager.
Biggs earned a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management from the University of North Texas with a minor in Business Management. She is a past member of the Club Managers Association of America and of the Mean Green Culinary Club.
